Supply Chain — Inside Our Manufacturing Network

Elefant MFG doesn't own factories — we design, qualify and manage programs across a network of manufacturing partners across the region. This page profiles the depth of capability inside one of those partner facilities, from design and tooling through assembly and quality control, so you can see what actually stands behind a program we take on.

Capability and certification details below are condensed from a partner facility's own capability profile. The facility's name and logo have been omitted from this page; specific partner introductions are available on request.
Representative Facility

A One-Stop Sourcing Solution

Founded in 1994. Headquartered in Hong Kong, with an 18,000 m² production facility in Dongguan, China. Product design, tooling, materials, assembly, quality control and logistics — spanning concept to product on shelf, under one roof.

Design & Engineering

Engineering & Design

Capabilities

Mechanical design, mold-flow simulation, electronics design and reverse engineering, backed by ATOS/GOM 3D scanning for dimensional capture and FDM 3D modelling for rapid iteration.

Elefant MFG Relevance

This is the design-side capability our Product Engineering team coordinates with directly — running DFM review and material selection against what a partner facility can actually validate and build, not just what looks right in CAD.

35–800T · 28 Machines

Molding & Materials

Capabilities

A fleet of 28 fully equipped German-built injection molding machines ranging from 35 to 800 tons, running glass-fiber, carbon-fiber, wood-powder, metallic-color and metal-substitute resins alongside chemical foaming, gas-assisted molding, rubber over-molding, metal insert molding, in-mold labelling, and conductive, digital, pad and spray finishing.

Elefant MFG Relevance

This is the scale and process range our Material Engineering and Tooling Engineering disciplines design against — the tonnage and material capability that determines whether a design decision on screen actually works on the shop floor.

SMT · PCBA · Final Assembly

Assembly Processes

Capabilities

SMT down to BGA/01005 components, PCBA and ICT, chip IC and LED bonding, heat-seal and FPC bonding, firmware programming, AI and wave soldering, conformal coating, ultrasonic welding, and module, backlight, cable-harness and custom assembly — with crimping-force monitoring and full traceability built into the line.

Elefant MFG Relevance

For programs where a plastic or metal housing has to close around an electronic assembly, this is the process depth our engineers coordinate with — matching tolerance and fixturing decisions on the housing to what the assembly line actually needs.

In-house Workshop

Prototyping & Tooling Workshop

Capabilities

ATOS/GOM 3D scanning, FDM 3D modelling, laser engraving, wire-cutting and CNC, and micro-CNC and EDM — the in-house workshop that turns a validated CAD model into a first sample or a working cavity insert.

Elefant MFG Relevance

This is where our Stage 2 tooling-engineering work (see our Technical & Engineering page) actually gets cut — cavity layout and steel-grade decisions our tooling engineers specify are built and verified here before a tool is released to production.

Full QC Lab

Quality Control & Testing

Capabilities

CMM and optical/color measurement, RoHS analysis, environmental and thermal-shock testing, humidity testing, IP65/67 testing, fire-retardation testing, salt-vapor spray testing, X-ray inspection, micro cross-section analysis, mechanical testing and life/MTTF testing.

Elefant MFG Relevance

This lab is where our Stage 3 dimensional-verification and first-article inspection work is actually run — turning "it looks right" into a documented deviation map against the nominal model, the same discipline behind our Production Stability positioning.

ISO · IATF · IPC

Certifications & Compliance

Capabilities

IPC-A-610 Class 2/3 workmanship, RoHS, REACH, PAH-free and IP65/67 compliance, plus facility-level certification to QC-080000, ISO-9001, ISO-13485 and IATF 16949 (formerly TS 16949) — covering Industrial, Automotive and Health/Medical-grade production.

Elefant MFG Relevance

These are the certifications our engineering team checks against when a client's program has a specific regulatory or industry-standard requirement — matching the partner facility's actual certification scope to what the end application legally needs, not just what's convenient.
